Working in New Mexico on paper with a crow quill pen, Christine Taylor Patten makes heroic drawings ranging in scale from only several inches in both dimensions to as much as twenty four feet long. Delicate crosshatching creates meditative spaces and the artists's titles, like What If War Were Not An Option and First We Must Want Peace Before We Can Have It, offer her audience a poetic vision.
