The three major influences in Santa Fe artist Betsy Bauer’s work are botany, music, and landscape. Often these influences are layered over one another in the artist’s small and intimate works, which combine both the old – opera, literature, and other antique publications with new painting and craqueler frames. Bauer exhibits in museums and galleries across the US including: Washington, DC; California; New York; Texas; and Santa Fe, NM where she has created post cards and posters for the Santa Fe Opera.
