Betsy Bauer

The three major influences in Santa Fe artist Betsy Bauer’s work are botany, music, and Italy. Often these influences are layered over one another in the artist’s small and intimate works, which combine both the old – opera, literature, and other antique publications with new painting and craqueler frames. Bauer exhibits all over the country including: Washington, DC; California; New York; Texas; and Santa Fe, NM where she has created post cards and posters for the Santa Fe Opera.
